Job Description / Responsibility
- Manage the store section (both mechanical & electrical spare parts, motor spare parts, equipment, accessories, general store items) of transport department for effective operational management.
- Ensure proper store operation in receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, PR (Purchase Requisition), GR (Goods Received) & transfer of automobile / mechanical / electrical spare parts, equipment, accessories, general store items against various types of transports/vehicles (light, medium & heavy).
- Maintain proper input of store management information in ERP software system and generate reports as required by management from time to time
- Maintain constant liaison with Engine Workshop / Automobile Workshop / Automobile Department to ensure that all automobile / mechanical / electrical spare parts, equipment, accessories items are available as & when required.
- Maintain & update stock reports on regular basis.
- Ensure goods are properly segregated and maintain uninterrupted supply of products.
- Ensure proper storage of products, ensure continual improvement of work process.
- Plan, implement & utilize optimum use of store space of Transport Department.
- Manage issuance process efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee inventory control and processing orders.
Diploma in Automobile/ Master Degree in any discipline
At least 7 year(s)
- Sound interpersonal skills and team player
- Work experience in ERP based transport store management software.
- Good knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
