We are looking for Insurance Specialist for the Operations organization.
Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for handling any matter related to insurance within company’s scope of work.
- Function as organization’s internal and external point of contact for any matter related to insurance.
- Maintain constant communication with insurance company to fulfill all requirements related to the availed policies.
- Ensure all relevant documents are always updated in order to be able to avail insurance claim for our stakeholders as and when any such incident or occurrence takes place.
- Play the role of surveyor to assess actual loss arising fromincident or occurrence from shipment/trip.
- Immediately respond to emergency situations, accidents and events as they arise 24/7, physically move to the incident location anywhere within the country as and when required. Ensure on-call availability outside regular business hours.
- Function as subject matter expert within the organization.
- Ensure required business and regulatory compliance are maintained.
- Adhere to service level agreements with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and provide instant solutions to problems within tight deadlines.
- Provide feedback to Management identifying scopes of development for the purpose of improving operating procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree from any reputed University.

- 10 years’ experience in insurance related roles.
- Insurance claim and surveyor related experience in transportation/automotive industry is a plus.
- High degree of ownership and commitment to work quickly and accurately in a rapidly changing environment.

- Strong operational mindset with can do attitude.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite of programs, Google apps, web-based applications, commonly used social media tools etc.
- Willing to dive in and do what's needed, regardless of whether it's in the job description or not.
- Problem-solving skills, multi-tasking ability with keen attention to details.
- Self-motivated: able to work independently and think creatively to deliver results.
- Strong internal and external communication skills including verbal, written (both Bangla and English). Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups and accurately document job related activities.

- Able to remain calmand exercise sound judgment under pressure.
