Job Description / Responsibility

  • This position demands the ability to juggle multiple priorities in short deadlines, adaptability to changing directions, orientation to results and high customer focus in areas of Human Resources.
  • Provide Business analytics support for HR department
  • Analyze, design and evaluate compensation/benefits plans
  • Provide counsel and strategic guidance on selected HR programs, jobs evaluations and placements across the business
  • Advisory responsibility in the administration of payroll benefits. This process includes taxation and development of continuous improvement of process.
  • Develop data analytics to enable informed decisions that supports Chevron's benefits and compensation philosophy in ensuring the company's competitiveness
  • Provides strategic deliverables, research and analyze best practices that will augment our expatriate administration process at Chevron Bangladesh
  • Responsible person in HR for all compliance related activities. Effective partnership with Chevron Bangladesh Internal controls team in ensuring HR's full compliant on all applicable company compliance requirements; Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) etc. in addition to being accountable for External and Internal audits related to HR
  • Lead HR projects as may be assigned by HR management

  • Experience in benefits and compensation design in a multinational company
  • Proficient in Business and data analytics
  • Proficient in Project management and tools
  • Excellent coordination and presentation skills
  • Strong customer focus with good interpersonal skills and cultural sense
  • A self-starter follows up and pushes efforts to completion
  • Excellent communication skills in both English & Bengali
  • Understands and responds to group goals and customer needs to a level that ensures alignment of work group procedures, customer needs and business priorities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
